Although we have had a significant increase in Player numbers for 2012, there are still a couple of teams needing players. So if you know anybody who is interested, please email us at halswelljuniors@gmail.com.

Premiership Round 6
The Halswell Hornets Premiers remain unbeaten, with one game to play in the first round of the 2012 Canterbury Rugby League Premiership, after beating the Hornby Panthers 28-16. Halswell held a 16-6 halftime lead after a tight first half. The second stanza saw Hornby beginning to mount a comeback, but once again Halswell's strong defence held them out. The game was later sealed with two tries to Manu Weepu and Toi Sepuloni.
